Confed17

Just one week after the general election, Confed17 brings together health and social care leaders to hear the detail behind the new government's plans for the NHS, and to debate what it means in practice.

The only way forward

Health and care leaders are clear that transforming delivery of care and services is the only way forward. But, the twin task of maintaining current services while developing and implementing radical changes presents a monumental challenge.

Book your place to join colleagues involved in planning, commissioning and providing care, to confront the challenges head on.
Building relationships, cementing partnerships

Confed17 provides unparalleled networking opportunities across the NHS, local government and the third sector, so you can build relationships, cement partnerships and share solutions on how to develop health and care services fit for the future.

The conference's themes focus on six essential components of transforming delivery:

  • Digital - Making transformative change a shared reality through use of technology
  • Integration - Joining together the gaps in health and care
  • Leadership - Guiding the vision of better services from the front
  • Money - Getting the most out of scarce taxpayer funding
  • Transformation - Delivering change at pace and scale
  • Workforce - Making the most out of the health and care workforce and bank

New for 2017

  • Refreshed full two-day programme - The new format still provides the same content, exhibition time and networking opportunities, but requires less time away from the office and less money spent on accommodation.
  • Inaugural Communications Conference, Monday 12 June - The first ever event for health and care comms leads will offer innovative and cost-effective comms techniques that can be easily applied to your organisation.
  • Full day NHS Employers Workforce Summit, Tuesday 13 June - HR directors and workforce leaders will come together to debate topical workforce issues, share best practice and provide tangible solutions to workforce challenges.
  • New fringe programme - Further thought-leading sessions will take place after the main conference on day one, and over breakfast on day two.
