Three projects gain funding for Efficiency Research

Three new projects have been chosen for research into system efficiency and sustainability in health and social care.

The projects, funded by the Health Foundation, will explore innovative approaches to achieving greater system efficiency and sustainability in health and social care in the UK.

The Efficiency Research Programme focuses on: allocative efficiency; aligning incentives; optimising the role of technology; and optimising the spread and diffusion of efficient practice and innovation in health and social care.

The Programme was launched in 2014 and provides grants of up to £500,000 to support projects over three to five years.
