Organised by the Infection Prevention Society, the conference aims to bring together infection prevention and control professionals from across the UK and further afield to share and debate best practice, research and discuss the latest issues within the infection prevention field.
Gregynog Hall Conference Centre
Gregynog Hall has been famous for it’s hospitality for at least four hundred years, hosting conferences since the 1920’s. Now with free wireless internet, full IT support and office services, our eight conference rooms can host the most modern of affairs. The Music Room seats up to 180 people, the Dining Room 100 and the c.1636 Blayney Room can cater for a reception of 40.
Our 59 bedrooms can accommodate 107 guests with a selection of grand historic rooms, traditional en-suite, and single study bedrooms. Fine furniture and works of art grace many of these rooms. Garden Cottage can sleep 11 and is perfect for a family or group holidays.
Gregynog really is the most romantic of locations, laced with symbolism and cultural significance. Four of our historic rooms are licenced for civil wedding ceremonies. The grounds offer fantastic opportunities for photographs and exclusive use can be offered.
Our Grade 1 listed gardens, set within 750 acres incorporate fountains, a lily pond and water garden. A mass of Rhododendrons and yew hedge create a spectacular backdrop to the sunken lawns.
The Courtyard café and shop are open daily.
