We have designed each step from referral, through to scan and report to happen as quickly and efficiently as possible giving clients more time to concentrate on the patient.

Over 80% of reports are provided in under 30 mins. KPI’s of 30 mins, 60 mins and 4hrs with exam prioritisation according to the referral type.

Our intelligent approach to people and systems means that we answer calls in moments not minutes, saving time and freeing staff up to move onto their next task.

Our Elective service provides safe, timely and responsive reporting to manage local radiology key elective performance targets.

Our patient focused reporting service has been designed and refined in collaboration with more than 100 UK NHS trusts. Our service offers the full equivalence to in-house reporting, using experienced radiologists.

Our advanced approach to managing capacity from reporters and demand from clients using our global network of reporters, and with better tools, means that we are responsive and adaptable with reporting sessions available when you need them.

Our intelligent use of historical data means we can share information with hospitals about likely future needs, without such heavy reliance on local hospital administration. This means we can help you prepare for pressure periods and maintain your reporting KPIs throughout.

We provide detailed and actionable data about how your teleradiology service is running, which supports continuous improvement and improved outcomes. Information is available both live and monthly.
Clinical Governance:

We pride ourselves on our clinical governance and quality. Our detailed clinical quality assurance process monitors the standard of our radiology reporting to help ensure best possible patient outcomes.

Our excellent clinical governance structure leads to fewer queries from your local team, and more accurate diagnosis.

We have a safe, transparent and effective process for managing urgent findings, discrepancies, reporter queries and feedback.

All our reports are made with access to all wider patient information, reports and imaging without the need for involving local hospital staff.

So what do our customers say?

“Medica are proactive, providing detailed reports and highlighting trends on referral rates and the number of scans accepted so that we have oversight of the service and potential future demand. They are happy to tailor referral guidelines to accommodate individual Trust requirements. Queries about inappropriate referrals are dealt with swiftly and often a transcript is produced outlining details of the case and including learning points for both parties. This collaborative approach helps us better manage our efficiency and ensure that we get the best value from our partnership with Medica.”
