We can work with any existing Health Authority or private company to achieve expansion by utilizing prefabricated building facilities to create new working spaces more economically and quicker than a traditional brick build.

Helping to project plan this extra expansion in a way that causes the least disruption to your educational and social activities by looking at existing areas within the Centres boundary’s i.e. vacant grounds, carpark, quadrangles etc.

Improving the visual aesthetics of the buildings and the Centre as a whole by externally finishing the buildings with existing Livery colours and finishes, which also helps promote the kind of ambience that supports wellbeing, care and mental development-stimulation.

Your Building

Dependent upon your exact requirements, you can have a single cabin or a multi storey modular building system, giving you the maximum versatility for your space & your team. Should these change over the course of its life, the space can be altered to suit your requirements.

Our Process

Working closely with you once the project price and design specification have been agreed, a program of work schedule is drawn up detailing the elements of construction and installation for our production team, giving you full transparency on the works.

Initial Discussion, Site Visit, Quotation & CAD design, Building Specification, Acceptance of Quote

Project/Site Work Timeline, Initial Groundworks/Foundations, Groundworks & Utilities Installation

As part of the project, a scheme for ground working would be put into place and agreed with you. This could involve the utility services being ducted for and installed by our own team, such as Electric; Water; IT; Foul Waste etc.

Mains connections can also be organised by Spacebuilder if needed. Once the building is completed on site, steps and ramps can be added and the surrounding area can be landscaped with turf, concrete, tarmacing or paving etc, as the project requires.


Spacebuilder can design and install complete foundations i.e. concrete; steel; piling dependent upon site conditions, or simply supply pad loading information to you for your own sub-contractors to install.


Once your building has been installed, our ground working teams can build and install all the elements required to complete the whole look of your new space.

Each aspect of your building will be accessed to ensure that accessibility for your staff and the public is compliance to Part M Building regulations, taking in the flow and usage of the area within and around the building.
Items such as:

  • Ramps, Lifts, DDA and Ambulant Toilet Facilities
  • DDA Shower / Toilet Pod - Extension pods to existing brick buildings
  • Interior corridor and lobby accessibility

We have the full facility to manufacture and install ramps and staircases to complete your project.


Variation in site levels or unforeseen ground issues can make it particularly difficult to install buildings. If the site has problems, we will always work with you and endeavour to find a suitable, cost-effective solution to keep the project on track and on budget.

With extensive knowledge and practical understanding of building logistics, our experienced team can plan and move any type of modular complex or single unit quickly and safely, with the least amount of disruption. We have our own Appointed Persons and Slinger/Signallers to help plan and manage a full site installation in conjunction with Crane or Hiab usage. Depending on the type of delivery, full site surveys can be carried out prior to any demounting or movement.

Building prepared off site, Building Installed-Onsite Works completed, Handover

The minute the civils and groundworks are finished, the individual units will be scheduled to be delivered and installed on site using crane or Hiab wagons.

To ensure that your building and project is completed to our high quality and exacting standards, our experienced on-site team attend site and finalise the onsite installation works as scheduled.
