Adam is Managing Director of S8FER LTD, an author, speaker and safety, security and operational resilience professional.

 His professional background includes 17 years within the UK Police service, followed by senior health, safety and security roles within the NHS, including responsibility for corporate violence prevention and reduction. 

Adam is the author of Break the Cycle: The Five Pillars Framework for Tackling Violence & Aggression in the Workplace, which explores how organisations can move beyond reactive approaches to workplace violence and build stronger systems around prevention, leadership, culture, learning and organisational capability. 

Through S8FER, his work focuses on helping organisations translate policy, risk and regulatory requirements into practical arrangements that work in the real world.
