£500,000 will be used to improve the community mental health service in Ealing.
The investment will support new clinic rooms, therapy spaces and a new shared area with the Trust’s crisis assessment team while strengthening links with partner services.
The service supports adults experiencing complex psychosis, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, many of whom have experienced repeated hospital admissions or lengthy inpatient stays.
Patients will also have the opportunity for therapeutic and social activities, including gardening projects, occupational therapy-led groups and community-based engagement, designed to support recovery, reduce isolation and develop everyday living skills.
Access to key partner services has also improved, including the Ealing Crisis Assessment Home Treatment Team (ECHATT) and the Clozapine Clinic, enabling closer collaboration and faster communication about patient care.
Yashvin Greedary, Lead Practitioner, said: "Our role is to help people build independence, support their recovery and give them ownership of their care. The new environment gives us more opportunities to do that, while still offering the flexibility to meet patients where they feel most comfortable."
