Andy Burnham has said that the NHS will collapse without changes to social care.

In an interview with the BBC said that if social care was not reformed, the NHS would collapse with people who really didn't need to be in the NHS system.

However, he said he could not put a timeline on reform right now.

Burnham is expected to deliver a speech on adult social care on Wednesday.
