The AI Commission for Health and Social Care has endorsed the AI and Digital Regulations Service (AIDRS) in Wales.

AIDRS aims to help prospective adopters and developers of AI navigate emerging technologies in health and social care.

AIDRS as been jointly developed by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the Health Research Authority (HRA), and the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).

It provides a summary of regulations and guidelines relevant to the deployment of AI technology as well as case studies and commentary for adopters and developers in health and social care.

The AI Commission will cooperate with NHS England and UK partners to support AIDRS in meeting the needs of service users in Wales.
