NHS Nightingale – Our Story
In March 2020, Alpine Works was honoured to be engaged by the NHS for the monumental task of delivering mechanical and electrical services to 2,000 beds at the ExCel Centre, Nightingale Hospital, within just five weeks. Faced with a national emergency, Alpine rose to the challenge, doing everything possible to support the nation’s response. Our teams united to meet tight deadlines, and this project remains a source of immense pride for us.
The fact that the facility was not used to it’s full potential was a really positive story and should be celebrated alongside the London hospitals that proved so resilient in the face of tremendous pressure to the extent they didn’t need a converted exhibition hall in London.
In 2021, Alpine Works received the ECA Contractor of The Year 2020/21 award celebrating excellence in the electrical and engineering services industry. This prestigious recognition highlighted our achievements, particularly for our successful contribution to the Nightingale Hospital Project.
