Students in Barnsley, Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield are being invited to find out about careers as an allied health professional.

The event will be hosted by South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust on Tuesday 3 December.

The trust offers allied health professional careers in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, dietetics, podiatry, and arts therapies.

Interested students can book online for the evening event.

The event will cover why people should consider working in a career in community services, mental health, children’s services, and learning disabilities, as well as highlight the types of roles that are available, and the qualifications and experience needed, including work experience and apprenticeships.
